Power Current Transducer
Like any other electric motor the prime mover of a pumping unit must be operated at rated voltage and frequency. The sonoecho™ Power Current Transducer PCT measures voltage and takes single-phase and three-phase motor power measurements both in real time and over an extended time period. Measured values are transferred directly to a PC via Bluetooth.
Knowing above mentioned values allow the DYN 17 software to provide information on gearbox torque.
The PCT also measures current. Motor overload can then be calculated by comparing the actual motor current to the rated full load current.
